The Soul in the Machine

Nightly I tap tap tap away in your unnatural glow. I stare into your eyeless face giving you second after second of the grains from my hourglass. I am the soul trapped in the machine.

Beginning

Welcome. I'm Julian.  Snapshot Stanzas is a creative exercise designed to boost my photography and writing skills, neither of which are my primary mediums (check my regular artwork at (http://julianweaver.net). The format will be one photo a day and whatever words it inspires. So without further ado, today's poem about touching up my new haircut:

Seeking to improve I less then a success in the beginning but I strived on until I made it a better ending. Understand that change is a wheel constantly spinning. With that in mind the scissors while you're  trimming.  Take the mistakes and make them into masterpieces. We learn by doing the experiments first and after that thesis. Making the most of my time on Gaia's beaches because none of us are owners, we're all just here on long term leases.
